Shares of Super Micro Computer (SMCI.O) jumped 25% on Wednesday after the AI-server maker raised fiscal fourth-quarter gross-margin guidance to 15-17%, roughly double its prior 8.2-8.4% target. A JPMorgan analyst said the surprise margin expansion implies Q4 EPS could be at least 80% above current Wall Street estimates, though investors may question sustainability in coming weeks. JPMorgan also said the company secured more than $60 bln of new orders this quarter, exceeding its own expectations and signaling strong demand; peers including Dell and HPE saw their shares rise.
