NDRC and the National Energy Administration issued a notice releasing the
Renewable Energy Development "15th Five-Year Plan". The plan directs: new data
centers should be planned and sited in coordination with renewable power
generation; computing loads should be classified to tap spatial‑temporal
flexibility; promote green‑power direct connections and integrated
source‑grid‑load‑storage solutions; and steadily increase green power
consumption by digital infrastructure and raise the share of renewables in
existing digital infrastructure consumption.
