Jun Seki, an executive at Foxconn Technology Group responsible for its electric vehicle business, said that the application of advanced autonomous driving technology may come sooner than previously expected. "In the past four months or so, I've started to think that Level 4 autonomous driving technology will arrive sooner than anticipated." Seki predicts that autonomous driving will become widespread by around 2040, with the installation rate of Level 4 or higher autonomous driving technology exceeding 80%.
