Sichuan provincial government office issued a plan to scale deployment of
new‑energy freight trucks, targeting a fleet exceeding 40,000 by end‑2027. The
plan calls for use of the large‑scale equipment renewal policy and seeks funding
proceeds from ultra national‑long special sovereign bond to back scrapping and
replacement of eligible old commercial trucks with new‑energy trucks and to
support purchases of new‑energy urban cold‑chain delivery vehicles.
