As part of implementing central directives to deepen a unified national market,
the State Administration for Market Regulation launched a special campaign in
May to remove obstacles to market integration and fair competition, targeting
four problem types including misuse of credit evaluations to create hidden
regional barriers in bidding and procurement. On July 23 SAMR published interim
results, saying the improper credit-evaluation barriers and related issues have
been effectively rectified and announced associated cases.
