South Korea’s science and technology minister Pae Kyung-hoon will travel to the
US Thursday evening for San Francisco/Silicon Valley meetings with Broadcom,
OpenAI, ANTHROPIC and NVIDIA (NVDA.O) to push large technology firms to invest
in Korean companies. Discussions will center on AI collaboration, market
expansion, AI data centers and semiconductors; Pae said the trip aims to
“strengthen cooperation” and promote Korea’s AI ecosystem, branded as “K-AI.”
