At the morning close, China's most-active futures contracts were mixed. Shanghai
crude (SC) rose more than 6%, ethylene glycol (EG) gained over 4%; fuel oil,
LPG, styrene (EB), plastics and PET bottle flakes advanced over 2%. On the
downside, palladium fell more than 5%, platinum and Shanghai silver declined
nearly 5%, Shanghai gold dropped over 2% and polysilicon slipped about 2%.
