China's National Energy Administration issued 373 million renewable energy green
certificates in June, covering 1.2475 million projects. Of these, 206 million
(55.41%) are tradable, roughly unchanged MoM. The issuance primarily reflects
May 2026 renewable generation (270 million certificates, 72.38%). Certificates
for conventional hydropower, biomass and other renewables rose MoM, with
conventional hydropower recording the largest increase.
