At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results, with palladium down nearly 6%, platinum down over 4%, silver down nearly 4%, and gold, polysilicon, live hogs, and eggs down over 2%. On the upside, SC crude oil rose over 4%, rapeseed meal rose nearly 4%, ethylene glycol (EG) rose over 3%, and rapeseed oil rose over 2%.
