Benchlife reports NVIDIA has issued price-increase notices to its board partners
for GDDR6 and GDDR7 VRAM kits. NVIDIA supplies GPU chips bundled with VRAM as
kits that partners mount on custom PCBs; with kit prices set to rise again, AIB
(add-in board) vendors are expected to pass the higher costs through to graphics
card prices.
