The Yangtze River Shipping Administration said 1H cargo throughput on the Yangtze trunk line reached 1.97 bln tonnes with 30,000 pilotage calls. Container throughput was 14.218 mln TEU, up 3.9% YoY. Transport of key commodities including grain and energy totaled 500 mln tons. Services moved 200,000 new-energy vehicles.
