According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending July 21, speculators reduced their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 2,880 contracts to 1,154,597 contracts. Speculators also reduced their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 5-year Treasury futures by 20,954 contracts to 1,273,329 contracts.
