DRC Ministry of Health said in a report on the 24th the current Ebola outbreak
has 2,905 confirmed cases and 1,269 deaths. The ministry attributed the sharp
rise in confirmed and fatal cases to a regional-to-national database
Reconciliation completed on the 22nd that added previously uncounted cases. As
of the 22nd, 722 patients were in isolation or hospital and cumulative
recoveries stood at 519.
