Axios, citing two sources, reported Trump on Friday instructed the US military
not to launch new strikes in Iran, halting 13 consecutive days of daily strikes.
Sources said it is unclear whether the order is a one-off pause or signals a
sustained halt. They said the move creates diplomatic space and reflects limits
to the effect of strikes absent renewed large-scale operations. The military can
mobilize relatively quickly if ordered to resume and is planning for a possible
return to large-scale action, but has not received such an order. The White
House did not respond.
