Al Arabiya and Saudi outlet Hadas report Iran told Pakistani officials it has
not withdrawn from negotiations but has temporarily suspended them and urged
resumption of stalled talks. Tehran rejected opening new shipping lanes in the
Strait of Hormuz. Iran confirmed to Pakistan it is willing to continue talks
with the US in Geneva, Qatar or Islamabad and said negotiations should restart
on the Hormuz issue first, followed by frozen funds, then the nuclear file.
