At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with SC crude oil and fuel oil falling over 8%, benzene falling over 7%, synthetic rubber, styrene (EB), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and paraxylene falling over 6%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) falling nearly 6%. On the upside, palladium, platinum, and silver rose over 3%, lithium carbonate and tin rose over 2%, and red dates, gold, and caustic soda rose over 1%.
