IDC China vice president Wang Jiping said the industry remains in an active
exploration phase for AI-agent smartphones. Proposed
directions—cross-application task execution, agent-native operating systems and
more immersive, proactive interaction models—all center on the personal AI
experience. These innovations rely on high-performance, low-power designs,
heterogeneous computing and cross-device connectivity; continued evolution of
these underlying capabilities are driving AI agents toward scaled deployment.
