Microsoft released MAI-Cyber-1-Flash on July 27, its first cybersecurity-specific AI model, and integrate it into its multi-agent vulnerability detection and remediation platform MDASH. Microsoft (MSFT.O) said the combination scored 95.95% on the CyberGym vulnerability-detection benchmark, outperforming MYTHOS, GEMINI and GPT-series models and reducing MDASH costs by about 50%. The company also launched the Perception agent security system for continuous monitoring, automated patching and response to novel threats.
