KB Real Estate's July housing survey: Seoul apartment average jeonse (lump-sum
deposit rental) reached 704.58 mln won as of July 13, up 1.2% month-on-month and
the highest since the series began in June 2011, driven by a shortage of
listings. Seoul's jeonse outlook index is 136.1 (above 130 since April),
indicating market consensus that jeonse will rise over the next three months.
The Bank of Korea's housing price outlook index climbed to 127, the highest
since September 2021, a reading above 100 signaling more consumers expect
prices to be higher in a year.
