At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with fuel oil falling over 6%, SC crude oil falling over 5%, synthetic rubber falling nearly 4%, benzene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) falling over 3%, and polysilicon, rapeseed meal, soda ash, and styrene falling nearly 3%. On the upside, container shipping to Europe rose over 5%, and eggs rose over 1%.
