Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the 28th that Washington has not
requested a call with President Putin and has not stepped back from involvement
in Ukraine. He said Russia and the U.S. are maintaining working‑level contacts
on the issue. Ukrainian President ZELENSKIY arrived in the United States early
on the 28th and is due to meet TRUMP later that day.
