China's National Intellectual Property Administration said 453,000 inventions
patents were granted in 1H, 2.055 million trademarks were registered, 64
geographic-indication products were recognized and eight geographic indications
were approved for registration as collective or certification marks.
Integrated-circuit layout-design registrations totaled 5,061. Authorities
approved two new national IP protection centers and six rapid rights‑protection
centers, and patent‑trademark pledge financing has benefited more than 19,000
enterprises.
