At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with ethylene glycol (EG), bottled PET chips, lithium carbonate, and European shipping contracts rising over 2%, propylene rising nearly 2%, and methanol, ferrosilicon, styrene (EB), polypropylene, logs, staple fiber, fuel oil, and Shanghai aluminum rising over 1%. On the downside, TSR20 rubber and regular rubber fell over 2%, soda ash fell nearly 2%, and synthetic rubber, red dates, and polysilicon fell over 1%.
