China's State Post Bureau released a postal-sector development plan setting 12
quantitative targets through 2030. Key targets: postal industry revenue 2.4 tln
yuan; total delivery volume 290 bln items; express revenue 2.0 tln yuan; express
volume 270 bln items. Network and service targets: 90% of administrative
villages to receive mail at least five times/week and 90% to host village-level
comprehensive logistics service stations; 72-hour successful delivery rate in
key regions 88%; international express network covering 110 countries/regions.
Operational and sustainability targets: full-automation rate at
above-designated-scale processing centers 88%; green packaging usage by express
firms 80%.
