A promotion event for the 140th Canton Fair was held in Istanbul on the 28th,
with Chinese and Turkish political, business and financial delegates discussing
deeper China‑Turkey trade ties and ways to link buyers and exhibitors. China’s
consulate in Istanbul said cooperation has expanded across minerals,
agricultural products, machinery and electronics, textiles, and building
materials/home furnishings, and flagged broad prospects in new energy, digital
economy, artificial intelligence and infrastructure. Organizers invited Turkish
firms and buyers to attend the Canton Fair and to inspect Chinese industrial and
supply‑chain capabilities.
