Prime Minister Anwar said on the 28th Malaysia will launch a 'National AI Program' to raise public AI literacy and accelerate the country's AI industry and digital transformation. From Aug. 31, Malaysians aged 18-30 who complete designated AI courses will receive a free three-month subscription to mainstream AI software; courses cover AI safety, generative AI and cloud computing. The The first phase is expected to reach about 100,000 youths.
