The China-ASEAN regional medical procurement platform helped a Chinese-made
surgical robot obtain Vietnamese market authorization and be installed for
clinical use at several major Vietnamese hospitals. The platform will promote
bilateral cooperation on surgical-robotics training, clinical rollout, academic
exchanges and talent development, and will push registration and market
promotion of radiotherapy, interventional equipment and related consumables to
expand Chinese large medical-device presence in Vietnam.
