On the 29th, IDF chief of staff Zamir, visiting southern Lebanon, said military
operations across the fronts are not over and the force must be prepared to
continue fighting. He said the IDF is ready to respond to any changes in the
situation. On the Lebanon front, Zamir said, "if the situation requires, the IDF
will continue to push deeper and enter additional areas."
