At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with SC crude oil up over 5%, ethylene glycol (EG) up over 4%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil up over 3%, bottled PET and styrene (EB) up over 2%, and staple fiber and benzene up nearly 2%. On the downside, soda ash fell over 2%, glass, rapeseed meal, and rebar fell over 1%, and cotton, caustic soda, and soybean meal fell nearly 1%.
