EPS was $2.02, including $0.11 from a tariff rebate; adjusted EPS exceeded the $1.89 estimate. iPhone sales rose 21.7% to $54.25 bln, beating the $53.86 bln forecast and setting a Q3 record. Global memory-chip shortages lifted Mac and iPad prices this quarter, which the company says prompted earlier iPhone purchases; Apple has not raised iPhone list prices but the Street generally expects price increases at the September launch. Greater China revenue was $18.82 bln versus $19.67 bln expected. Apple shares fell about 4% in after-hours trading.
