China State Planner said on July 31 that the overall price level rose steadily
in 1H, supporting corporate profits, fiscal revenue and employment and aiding
economic circulation. Looking to H2, accelerating AI and other emerging
industries, tightened capacity and output controls, improving market competition
and sustained services consumption will support continued price recovery. On the
supply side, summer grain output reached a record high, meat and egg production
capacity remains stable, fruit and vegetable output is steady, and key consumer
goods supplies are ample. Overall, prices are expected to remain stable in H2.
