At the morning close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly lower: lithium
carbonate, coking coal and fuel oil fell over 3%; coke was down nearly 3%;
Shanghai crude (SC), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), pure benzene, ethylene glycol
(EG) and styrene declined more than 2%. On the upside, Shanghai tin, apples and
palladium rose about 2%; No.20 rubber, platinum and red dates gained over 1%;
Shanghai silver, polysilicon and Shanghai zinc were up around 1%.
