At a July 31 regular briefing, China’s foreign ministry said it supports Chinese
firms conducting international cooperation on a market basis, that such
cooperation should be mutually beneficial, and that it hopes other countries
provide a fair, non-discriminatory business environment. For specifics on
China-EU economic cooperation it referred questions to the relevant Chinese
authorities.
