Qunar said on July 31 it received notices from multiple airlines that, effective for tickets issued from Aug 5, 2026, adult passengers will be charged a fuel surcharge of 70 yuan for routes over 800 km and 40 yuan for routes of 800 km or less, reductions of 30 yuan and 10 yuan respectively versus prior levels.
