After four straight gains Hong Kong opened slightly lower and the Hang Seng
Index briefly dipped below its 250-day moving average, falling as much as 235
points to an intraday low of 25,622 after opening down 21 at 25,837, before
recovering to close up 0.1%; July gain now >13%. The Hang Seng Tech Index closed
up 0.53%, nearly +8% in July. Market turnover was HKD 328.17 bln. Storage names,
AI recent listings and PCB stocks led a sharp rebound; brain‑computer interface,
electronic components and commercial aerospace also rallied. Alcoholic
beverages, consumer electronics and mainland-traded shares corrected; autos,
paper and dairy weakened intraday. Leveraged 2x long products tracking SK hynix
(07709.HK) and Samsung Electronics (07747.HK) jumped about 67.5% and 48%
respectively; Zhipu (02513.HK) +14.5%, MiniMax (00100.HK) +13%, Laopu Gold
(06181.HK) +10%; Xiaomi (01810.HK) -7%, Budweiser APAC (01876.HK) -6.5%.
