Senior Hamas official Naim said after intense negotiations Hamas has agreed to
the latest ceasefire roadmap. He said "the ball is now on Israel's side" and
that Israel must fulfill its commitments under the deal. Mediators and guarantors
must oversee and compel Israeli compliance to prevent violations. The next phase
will not begin until first-stage preconditions are fully implemented.
