China State Railway Group said the two-month summer transport period, which
began July 1, carried 432 million passenger trips from July 1–31. Passenger
flows concentrated in Chengdu–Chongqing, Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei, the Yangtze
River Delta and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. As of July 31,
China Railway’s Beijing bureau had carried 38.774 million passengers and the
Guangzhou bureau 58.925 million.
