of Lima, Oman. A tanker security officer said the vessel was struck by an
unidentified projectile, damaging the engine room and leaving the ship without
control; the regional coastguard has been notified. No injuries or pollution
reported; authorities are investigating. UKMTO advised transiting vessels to
exercise caution and report suspicious activity.
