Security and defense analyst Wolfgang Pustai said the U.S. cannot eliminate the
threat to vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and the northern Arabian Sea. He said
Washington can only limit attack frequency by striking Iranian assets used in
assaults on ships and is following a stop-start approach, responding with heavy
strikes when Iran attacks regional vessels.
