Palestinian civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said in a video statement on
the 2nd that Israeli drones and airstrikes struck multiple locations across the
Gaza Strip, killing at least 18 people, including two women and four children.
Bassal said targets included residential apartments, tents sheltering displaced
people, civilian vehicles and gatherings. He said an Israeli drone fired two
missiles at a civilian vehicle in Gaza City in the evening, killing four; an
airstrike on a tent in west Gaza City killed two, including a 13-year-old, and
wounded eight. Earlier, an airstrike on a jeep in central Deir al-Balah killed
two, and a strike near Jabalia refugee camp in the north killed one and wounded
several.
