At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with plastics falling by more than 5% on average, fuel oil down nearly 4%, SC crude oil down more than 3%, iron ore down nearly 3%, ethylene glycol (EG), styrene (EB), and lithium carbonate down more than 2%, benzene down nearly 2%, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) down more than 1%. On the upside, polysilicon rose by more than 2%, paraxylene, propylene, PTA, and polypropylene on average rose by more than 1%, and staple fiber, zinc, and tin rose by nearly 1%.
