By the morning close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower. Fuel oil and red dates fell more than 4%; urea dropped nearly 4%; Shanghai crude (SC) down nearly 3%. Iron ore and ethylene glycol (EG) declined over 2%; Shanghai nickel slipped nearly 2%; manganese‑silicon fell just over 1%. Winners included polysilicon, up over 7%; container freight (Europe route) up nearly 3%; eggs, PTA, rapeseed and Shanghai zinc rose more than 1%; industrial silicon up about 1%.
