China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) deputy director
Zhang Zhicheng met AmCham China president He Maike and member-company
representatives in Beijing. Zhang said CNIPA has been enforcing equal IP
protection for domestic and foreign firms, and is open to industry feedback to
identify foreign companies’ IP needs and implement targeted measures. He Maike
said IP protection in China has improved, creating a more supportive environment
for foreign investors; AmCham China will continue dialogue with CNIPA and
encourage member investment in China.
