The Information, citing five people, reports the White House has invited OpenAI, Google and Anthropic staff to a Tuesday meeting to review a completed AI oversight framework. The draft would establish a voluntary program requiring AI labs to submit models to government review before release to partners or the public. The meeting comes days after an Aug. 1 completion deadline set by an early‑June executive order. It is being hosted by the Office of the National Cyber Director; the invitation reportedly says the agenda will cover next steps and an unspecified related activity. Sources said companies are expected to send employee‑level representatives rather than senior executives and that the session is not a public rollout.
