Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry said on the 3rd that a fully domestically produced MC-21-310 completed its maiden flight at the Irkutsk aircraft plant airfield. The flight lasted 1 hour 23 minutes, reached 6,000 meters and a maximum speed of 600 km/h; all planned flight objectives were met. Russian media report the type is expected to receive airworthiness certification by end-2027.
