MOFCOM service-trade division said China’s services trade totaled 37,797.5 bln
yuan (RMB) in Jan–Jun 2026, up 8.3% YoY. Exports were 15,047 bln yuan, up 17.6%;
imports 22,750.5 bln yuan, up 2.9%, yielding a services trade deficit of 7,703.5
bln yuan, narrowed by 1,614.2 bln yuan YoY. Among the top-five categories,
travel services exports rose fastest, +31.1% to 2,292 bln yuan, while transport
services imports led import growth, +30.4% to 4,981 bln yuan.
