Apple's India revenue exceeded $10.0bn for the 12 months to March, delivering
double-digit growth from roughly $9.0bn the prior year, people familiar with the
figures said. The iPhone accounted for the bulk of sales, with iPad and MacBook
demand also rising. Apple is expanding its retail footprint in India. The
previously undisclosed figures underscore India's emergence as a new growth
market for Apple, though it remains a small share of global sales.
