Counterpoint Research’s global memory tracker shows Samsung reclaimed the global
DRAM lead in Q2 2026 with a 39% market share, returning to 2024 levels. SK
Hynix’s quarterly revenue rose 214% YoY but its DRAM share fell to 26% from 39%
in Q2 2025. Micron reached a 25% share, nearly level with SK Hynix for second
place. Counterpoint research director MS Hwang said SK Hynix hit record QoQ and
YoY performance, but Samsung and Micron have squeezed its share from both ends,
slowing its growth relative to peers.
