Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said China’s third medical expert team for
the DRC Ebola response arrived in Kinshasa on Aug. 1 and that the outbreak is
still spreading. The team—specialists in epidemiology, quarantine, clinical care
and pathogen laboratory testing—will build on prior teams’ work and deepen
cooperate with the DRC and international organizations to address
on‑the‑ground epidemic‑control needs.
