At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with platinum up over 7%, palladium up over 6%, silver up over 5%, urea up over 4%, coking coal up over 3%, and lead and coke up over 2%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell over 9%, SC crude oil fell over 6%, ethylene glycol (EG), benzene, and styrene (EB) fell over 5%, bottled ceramic chips fell nearly 5%, and paraxylene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell over 4%.
